MUSEUM COLLECTION

Housed in the rooms of Valltorta Museum is a permanent collection of archaeological pieces that contextualise the different ages of prehistory: stone utensils from the Upper Palaeolithic, Mesolithic and Neolithic ages, Neolithic pottery, arrow heads, vessels from the Metal Ages and an Iberian tombstone.

Artwork includes four stone slabs from Parpalló cave and two pieces of stone featuring the figure of an archer which were torn out.

 

VIEWING

  • GV-MUSEIA. The collection can be viewed in GV-MUSEIA, the museum management system developed by the Valencian Ministry of Education, Culture and Sport (Directorate of Culture and Heritage).
  •  MUSEUM. The collection at Valltorta Museum is open to the public (museum opening hours)
